The 307 & 308 series self tapping inserts have an internal and external thread with cutting bores and are especially suitable for material with difficult cutting properties. Suitable for installation in materials such as aluminium alloys, magnesium alloys, duroplastics and most thermoplastics.

These self tapping inserts create an internal threaded fastening point with high pull out strength, which potentially enables a smaller diameter high tensile screw fastening to be used. This headed type provide an enhanced solution in certain applications.

Available in steel, brass or stainless steel.
